Wake Forest 2023 baseball season thread (Deacs end historic season with extra inning loss to LSU: Final record 54-12 and top 4 finish nationally)

Plenty of chances I’m wrong. But tomorrow was always Skenes Lowder if we got there. Elimination game top two teams in the nation. Sucks for title series for either team but you’re going out with your best shot
 
Pitching carried us the first 2 games. We did not get a great game from Keener but we should still be in the game but we can’t hit. We don’t look comfortable in the field. Horrible throw from SS bailed out by Kurtz even our OFs appear to still have issues finding balls at times.
 
would need windy to weigh in on this but the flags look to be blowing from left field to right and several balls that looked like gap shots have been outs accordingly

Yea sucks we got LSU early, but if we can't beat them in three we don't deserve to win anyways.
