Wake Forest 2023 baseball season thread (Deacs end historic season with extra inning loss to LSU: Final record 54-12 and top 4 finish nationally)

Yea it’s more than just “that’s how the cookie crumbles”. Our bats are not partaking in the game. Just hoping for walks. Pitiful. Gotta be +170 tomorrow but nothing that inspires confidence when they’re on the mound.
 
Houston has absolutely sucked today. Plenty of time both throws.
 
All this doom and gloom giving up shit is about as embarrassing as our hitting. We don't look good right now but baseball is a game where things change on a dime... Keep your head in the game! If we can hold them here and get a little something going in the 8th we should then get the top of the lineup back up in the ninth... Let's go!!
 
Walter has pulled a Joe Maddon and overthought this entire game.
