As bad as college umpires are…I feel qualified to say they understand the rule better than a 14-U umpire.

You can do a jig as long as your back foot is on the pitching plate prior to coming set.
 
That’s fascinating about this pitcher’s reverse splits.

You can see in his motion how he twists his body to be between his throwing arm and right handed hitters, but the ball is clearly visible the whole time to lefties.
