Wake Forest Basketball Recruiting: Juke Harris Commits!!

Seems skilled with good size but has trouble finishing.

Mmmmmm that backwards dime from Keller on the backdoor cut...

Say what? His competition is not Oak Hill level or?

Here's the box score from his game against Minnehaha Academy. 26 pts, 11 rebounds. Jalen Suggs and Chet Holmgren are recent graduates. They've got a BC commit and a Houston verbal on this year's team (10th grader).

Only other school of note on their schedule that I know has produced a few D1 guys is Breck - David Roddy of CSU most recently - but they are not good this year.

He is sitting on a few B1G offers and, supposedly, Loyola too.

The BC commit, Prince Aligbe, dropped 36 that game. Wonder if he's gonna be good.

Generally that school recruits in the best prep players in the area. It is located in Minneapolis but is across the street from the Mississippi river - so they take kids from the St. Paul side too. There's another public high school in the Western suburbs that also open enrolls kids and has an elite hoops program. Both consistently produce a lot of D1 talent. While not a hoops hotbed, enough kids play hoops here that you'll get some high quality D1 guys most years. So he is no doubt one of the very best in the state.

Holy Family is in the far West suburbs and has a solid hockey program. I would not expect them to have a good basketball team. Hockey is far and away the top prep sport in this state in terms of churning out D1 athletes.
