Ituka is only 6'1"....don't think he'll get to the rim and finish as well as Williams, not in the ACC..
 
Right, Ituka probably will not be as good of a player as the reigning ACC player of the year. Still a very good pickup. Perhaps his height will keep him at WF for more than one year.

In former WF player news, Qadry Adams is in the portal after spending a fair amount of time on the bench at St Bonnie.

Tough to tell from highlight tapes, but he appears to be a very competent ball handler. We're going to miss the automatic offense that Williams provided no matter who we get in the portal, but if we have a real PG who is a legit threat to drive and can facilitate, that would immediately address a weakness and also likely cut down on turnovers. Assuming that Cam's information about the other teams after Ituka is true, this was a very good pickup.

If we get Carr, it seems like we'd be replacing Jake with a combination of Carr and Keller, which might be very good in the long term. But if Jake comes back, this is a NCAAT team.
 
IMHO, this team still needs another rim protector big. Marsh isn't going to play 40 min per game.
 
Had a 6-1 PG who at age 35ish was still doing ok getting to the rim, even last night….

As discussed in this & other threads, it's unlikely that Jake is coming back. But, gosh, check out some of Carr's YouTube video's. His game is actually quite similar to Jake's. Hope Forbes is able to land him.

Going to disagree with this. They are really not that similar. Carr does not have anywhere near the level of shot creating or playmaking ability of Jake.

Certainly possible, but I don’t recall any of us thinking Jake had that capacity before Forbes got him, either. Might be a little early for that conclusion.
