Being from upstate NY and having a long history of hating Syracuse, I'm fired up for Wake Forest's first ever trip to the Carrier Dome to take on the Orange.

Haven't seen much of Syracuse this year, but I'd like to think we should at least keep it close. Saw an opening line of Syracuse -8.5... that's gone to -9 on Sportsbook.

I'll say this one ends up falling into the "there are no moral victories" moral victory column...
Syracuse 68
Wake Forest 61

Yeah I agree. Think offense will be tough sledding in this one.
Who plays at the FT line vs the 2-3? Greg? Anyone else? Tree might've been nice there.

If there was ever a good time to beat them in the dome this is it. If Cooney is off, Syracuse really struggles to score.

Syracuse barely scraped by GaTech and VaTech. They weren't deep before - without McCullough they are extremely weak after their top 6. Would like to see Manning put the lock down on Cooney whatever it takes - if he gets hot they can be good (see FSU game) but otherwise this is a down team we need to go beat.

They've dodged some bullets - they're due for a loss. Let's go serve one up.

Syracuse was 341st in the country in bench minutes & they just lost someone who averaged 28 minutes per.

According to an email, the ACC is exploring their options from the crap affiliate setup that Raycom uses. Anyone who has a CW affiliate will not see the game tonight as the channel will be showing the Marvel shows instead.

Hope the guys play well tonight. A strong showing on the road is the next step in growing and moving forward.

Without McCullough, I really think we have a shot. Put Devin at the FT line in the middle of that zone and let him drive/pass to the low post. Look for CMM and Devin to drive to the basket putting pressure on Christmas. If he picks up fouls, Wake is rolling, because SU doesn't have big men on the bench now. Wilbekin, Hudson, and Leonard will have to make a few three's. On rebounds, look to push it if possible before SU sets up.

Hoping Dinos will shake off his shooting funk and hit some 3's tonight. That zone is susceptible to shooters with length. Also hoping for McClinton to hit some solid high post jumpers. He seems to excel at that, and the alternative is he hesitates and throws the ball away a bunch if he's given space there. There's a good chance Devin gets frustrated going up against multiple defenders whenever he gets the ball on the post so the play at the 3 and 4 spots will likely be critical.

On paper we should have an advantage on the offensive glass. We need to grab those boards and convert them into points.

This is an accurate, but unbelievable statement given the last couple years of rebounding under bezz.

Key to tonight is going to be hitting 7-8 threes against their zone, which will force them to back off Devin a bit, shoot 65% or better from the charity stripe, and keep turnovers under 12. We do those things and we can keep this one close, or even come away with a win.

I saw an article that said this is the first time we've ever played Syracuse in the Dome. Hard to believe if true.

When did TheACC.com stop streaming all conference basketball games? I thought I remembered that being an option if the game wasn't on the regional Fox Sports/Raycom affiliate in your area.
