Wake Forest Tennis 2019 - Men ACC Reg Season & Tourn Champs, NCAA & Indoor Runner Up

We beat UNC 4-2 at the national indoor tournament and 5-2 in the regular season. Both times we won at 1-3 singles. Sid lost both matches at 6, but he is really playing well now.
 
The 5-2 win included a doubles loss for us (as usual).

We didn’t play our current lineup in either matchup, so it will be a bit different for us. Blumberg was iced up after his match, so that’s something to watch. Think he’s pretty hurt.

Looks like UNC played same double teams as they did against us last time, but have definitely mixed it up in singles for #3-6 spots, where we took 3 of 4 points last time.

Going to be a battle unless we win doubles point then we roll.

Looks like the draw has turned to our favor as UT and UF are rolling and look like tough outs and have to think we have a significant mental adv vs UNC.
 
UNC’s lineup is set, except at 6 singles (will be either Sondergaard or Kiger).

Tennis Channel is showing hours of coverage from a big clay court event in Rome (Internazionali BNL D'italia tournament?) until 4-5pm eastern all week, so they were only showing the evening quarterfinals of the Men's NCAA today, and will only be showing the evening quarters of the Women's NCAA tomorrow. Similarly, will only show the late afternoon evening semis on Saturday, but will show both championship matches on Sunday.

It appears Bloomberg has a pulled hammy or groin according to the UNC boards. I would assume this will limit him. Anyone see how he was moving on the court Thursday?

He did get injured but played pretty well against Wolf. He didn’t practice yesterday though. I think he’ll play no matter what - they don’t want to have to move everyone up.
