I get athletes defending their coach over a quad rolling because of a firing

However they also need to realize that passionate fans are directly linked to the money the athletic department receives to run their programs. Not to mention athletic programs are a large part of getting undergraduate students interested in your university.

Bzz was not only hurting them as players by being a sorry ass coach, he was hurting the university's ability to make money and market itself
 
Hate RW all you want, but there are seniors on campus who are experiencing hope for our basketball team for the first time in their collegiate careers.

THAT'S why they should be rolling the Quad. Because an era of hopelessness is over.
 
The rolling was in the face of Wellman move, he deserved it. If we never utter the B Word again, I'm fine with that.

The seniors on campus never saw Wake make it to a postseason tournament. First class since 1990. Don't blame them for rolling the quad.
