Down to only 1 shot and ASU fortunately has 2 golfer falling apart, so tied with them and feels like they may fall out of contention at this rate.
 
In our 3rd round so far we have had 26 birdies and 1 eagle all tournament. TCU who is ranked #38 has 17 birdies today. Our #2 has 1 birdie and 1 eagle all tournament.

We are leaking bad with another 2 bogeys, but fortunately ASU is leaking worse. Now tied with FSU for 5th only 1 stroke up on ASU.
 
I was worried about Purdue backdooring in but they lost 3 more strokes and should be out of it.
 
Compare our situation as the #2 team, to stanford. They are -39 and second place is -17. Regardless of what happens the rest of the way it's going to take something extremely special to beat them.
 
Couple of birdies for Wake and a double by FSU, and Wake now in 4th. Just need to outplay ASU down the stretch now.
 
Our #2 who is a top 15 college player has 1 birdie and 1 eagle in 52 holes.

Richmond who is 74 over par has averaged just over 3 birdies per player in the tournament.
 
Yeah our top dogs didn't bring it especially today. Leads to this tight ending.
 
And just like that 2 birdies jumps us into 3rd place. 4 clear of a playoff. Finish it off and we should be okay.
