Wake Ranked 24th (Coaches)

Wake deserves to be ranked as an undefeated program from a power 5 conference 4 weeks into the season. Let's keep it going.
 
I’ve pretty much called the first four games exactly how they would play out and getting a ton of pm’s asking me to clue everyone in on the BC game ...

Folks here looking for perfection will be disappointed as this will not be an easy game ...

The spread might be 8 or 9 but BC will make it interesting. We will probably have to keep our starters out there most of the fame to win it.

Anyway if anyone asks you can point them to the information posted here as it will be spot-on as always ...
 
You really think we’ll play our starters most of the game? Do you have inside information?

Being ranked at any point in the season is better than never being ranked, why is it so hard to understand that?
 
So how is it that Wake is ranked and UNC isn’t?
Is that allowed?

If they mean something later, then they mean something now. You've gotta be ranked to move up in the rankings.
 
26th is probably ideal. Don't have the tag of the ranking next to our name for BC to shoot at (at least in the AP/what ESPN and all the major outlets use), and provides some extra motivation for our guys knowing a win will get us up there
 
Why is Virginia 8 spots higher than us?

Are Pitt, FSU, ODU and W&M really that much better than Rice, Elon, Utah State and U*NC?

You can [for right now at least] make an argument that Pitt is the best win, and FSU is still viewed as F$U. Plus, they won it in Doak Campbell.

UNcheat *COULD'VE* been as decent a win as Pitt if UNcheat had beaten the Appies. Utah State is a win that might increase it's value, or it might not.

ODU, W&M, Elon, Rice are all basically the same.

Long story short is thus; UVA has what appears to be a slightly better resume right now, are playing well and not generally screwing up.
Essentially, they'll be ranked above us until they lose. Or we do a black swan and beat Clempson or something.
 
UVA got votes sooner than we did.
