How common is this cheating in tennis?
That's interesting. It seemed to me from the message I got from a former Wake player that intentionally cheating in college tennis is, and I quote, "rampant."
You can't really blatantly cheat in college because there is a chair umpire watching the entire match and can over rule any call he/she deems incorrect. Plus, after a certain number of over rules you lose a point, then game, and then the match.

Indeed. That's what surprised me about his loss to OU. I felt he just lost it mentally in that match.
He didn't lose to OU though. He was down, and certainly may have lost, but it was 4-5 in the second set when the match concluded.
