Here's a point one of their leaders made:

"A key thing to know about Taylor — other than that he is a virulent racist — is that he pronounces whites wuh-hites, with extra emphasis on the h. “We have very good data on this subject, going back 100 years now,” said Taylor. “It’s very, very clear that Asians have the highest IQ, then wuh-hites, then Hispanics, then blacks.” Taylor went on like this, noting that the kinds of bacteria that make up a person’s mouth could be used to determine their race, that there was a reason that Haiti and Africa were both poor. The idea that race is a social construct, he said, “is so wrong and so stupid that only very intelligent people could convince themselves of it.” It was the most apt — and ironic — thing that any of them, including Taylor, a Yale graduate, said all afternoon."

These are great Trump supporters...

Yes, but I bet none of them got over heated, despite all those robes and pointy hats.

Have any of them ever referred to a Supreme Court Justice as an Uncle Tom?

do you think any of them are pissed at the fact that years ago when america was great Obama would be getting them coffee?

The greatest irony of this election is RWers, like 89 and others, used to bitch incessantly about Obama did talk about "American exceptionalism" and now the backbone of Trump's campaign is America sucks.

BTW, ALL of those at that meeting (and Trump's campaign CEO) are pissed that any black man became POTUS and that black people have civil rights. That's what white supremacy is about.

This is actually a really good point. This election is a de facto admission on their part that questioning of American Exceptionalism does not mean you hate your country.

There are hundreds of other such statements made about Obama and American exceptionalism. The amazing part of this is how stupid the people who say it are. In speech after speech from the instant he stepped on the national political stage, central to dozens of speeches is that in no other place on Earth is his story possible. He tells it over and over and over again that only due to the greatness of America can a person from his beginnings get the opportunity to succeed like this.

This is one of his core beliefs and he states it openly.

Is this just occurring to you? The irony of Trump supporters calling out Kaepernick just flew on by you?

Thanks RJ. I hadn't heard of the meeting. Please let me know how it went when you get back.

I'd rather a candidate have the support of white supremacists than that of the majority of Wall Street. The latter wields a much higher ability to fuck over our nation.

What a shock that the lesser lights try to make the issue about something that happened years ago and not what happened last weekend and impacts the election.

Predictably weak, but totally expected.

As described at the time, there is nothing to apologize for. He has repeatedly voted against the interests of black people and did as recently as the vote on the NC voter ID law.

AGAIN, others making me the issue not a meeting of a group national white supremacist groups to support Trump.

But that is a good way to deflect supporting the favorite son of racists.

The Great RJ Karl, everybody.

He should be ashamed to vote to uphold a law that was created to discriminate against black, old and poor people.

It's such a loaded term- a bit bold for a white male to make that determination. I know you're stubborn but this is one instance where I figured you would have apologized.
