The Glamour Girls were not great, but that was primarily due to their "manager", the Fabulous Moolah. The correct answer was actually their rivals, the Jumping Bomb Angels. If you want to read about some shit, look up an article about their feud. It may get mentioned in the upcoming Vice show about Moolah as well. That woman was one of the most vile people ever in an industry full of not great people (though things used to be worse then they are now, generally).

Crowd was popping for their stuff. But yeah, Moolah did more to hinder women's wrestling than advance it. Legend has it that there was supposed to be a Girls/Angels match at WM4 but Moolah sabotaged it b/c the Girls decided to break away from her. And a decade before when women's wrestling was legalized in NY she got the women responsible for that barred from WWE shows.

Garea was quite the tag specialist. Winning the tag titles w/ five different partners. You're the first I've seen mention the Garea/Zbyszko tandem. Folks usually mention either the Garea/Ho or Garea/Martel tandem as the best.
