Is it airborne yet?
Is it airborne yet?
Do mosquitoes fly?
On a serious note, should I be remotely concerned at all if my wife and I have talked about trying to have kids pretty soon?
I can't tell if they are trying to hype this up just get some press, but some researchers built computer models to predict the prevalence of Aedes aegypti, the Zika carrying mosquito in the US. ...and it looks like most of the SE US has moderate vulnerability in the summer months.

Keep in mind, this is just a model to predict mosquito abundance related to climate predictions...the disease its self is carried and spread by the mosquito but just because the vector is there doesn't mean the disease is.
Last week the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed that the virus causes severe birth defects.
The latest research showed mapping Zika was more complex than simply defining where the mosquito can survive.
One of the researchers, Dr Oliver Brady from the University of Oxford, told the BBC: "These are the first maps to come out that really use the data we have for Zika - earlier maps were based on Zika being like dengue or chikungunya.
And in the US, Florida and Texas could sustain the infection when temperatures rise in summer.
Dr Brady added: "Mosquitoes are just one condition needed for Zika to spread but there's a whole range of other ones.
"It needs to be warm enough for Zika to replicate inside the mosquito and for there to be a large enough [human] population to transmit it."
Both Africa and Asia have large areas that could be susceptible to the virus, the researchers said.
zika hits overpopulated places? #lifefindsaway
aren't most of those nations heavily catholic?
Mother of Zika baby born in New Jersey says she flew to America to seek treatment after doctors in Honduras 'underestimated' her symptoms - and the U.S. citizen baby will cost AT LEAST $1million to treat
The Honduran mother who delivered what is believed to be the first baby to be born with a Zika virus-related condition in the New York tri-state area flew to America to specifically seek treatment.
The woman, who is unsure of how she contracted the virus, said that it may have happened because of a mosquito bite. She gave birth to the baby girl that has intestinal and visual issues along with microcephaly by cesarean section on Tuesday at Hackensack UMC.

Drove through Wynwood last weekend. Windows up of course.
Pregnant friend of mine in Fort Lauderdale posted she got this "goody bag" from the local health department.
Why get an abortion when you can just go to the United States and let the American citizens pay for the care of your child with Zika related birth defects? I laugh at the estimate of "at least a million". Over the course of it's life it's going to cost many millions more than that.

Does anyone actually buy LifeStyles, and do they work? Every time I see free condoms given away they are LifeStyles. Being given away so much instead of actually purchased, I assume they are only about 30% effective. The Jeff [Redacted] of boogiebags.
