Why Democrats are Rightly Hated..

And some are BAD. Objectively.
Well yeah. Some Democrats are so bad they threaten to run as Republicans (Manchin), others actually switch back and forth, based on whats most convenient (Bloomberg), some conspire with Republicans to prevent progressive legislation from passing (Cuomo), and some actually hire consultants to decide which party to run as (lots of assholes)

Some hold onto sexual assault accusations in order to use the victim as the most opportunistic political pawn, instead of when they get them.

Some bomb Libya, vote for horrific wars, and laugh at getting rapists off the hook.

Some beat their girlfriends and face no repercussions.

It would appear the voters of the state of Minnesota are able to give Rep. Ellison the repercussions you seek. His victim is also able to pursue him through the criminal and civil justice systems (this includes my assumption that the abuse is in the recent past, so no statutes of limitation have expired).

Certainly more opportunities for justice than Professor Ford will receive.

Giving Trump a bigger majority is such a good plan...but you'll feel good...
I need help understanding, RJ, who exactly is it that you think is responsible for Trump and Republican rule? Do you believe that it's all Republican voters + all non-voters? So like 70% of all citizens? What if I live in a a blue state and dont vote, does that mean i'm helping the Democrats? What if I vote straight ticket, with the exception of one office? I've so many questions about this.

Your activism theoretically reaches people in unsafe states and districts. Taking votes from Dems in any of those places is effectively voting for the Republican and their policies. Dissuading people from voting helps Republicans. In toss-up districts and states, voting for a third party these days is a vote for Republicans.

Hillary's arrogance, Putin and people not voting were the critical factors in 2016.

RE: Voting straight ticket- who is on a city council in most small areas or even many big cities is totally irrelevant.

You don't know who i'm dissuading from voting. It could be Charlie Daniels or Hitler Jr., you have no idea. It seems as though you count all potential voters as Democrats. That's interesting. It might behoove the Democratic Party to make the necessary changes to tap into that subset of potential voters, rather than playing to the whims of their donors.

Horse Shit. The FBI has rejected that idea. The 2 cases are diametrically opposed to one another. One happened in 2017 and has police reports.

Somebody almost “killed” Christine. Seems to me you would want to file an allegation of attempted murder at the time.

* again, beautifully crafted use of the word “inadvertently” — when I saw the statement was when I knew it was some home-brewed swill.

You have a perfect opportunity to reshape the Democratic Party to many or most of your beliefs (most of which a huge % of Dems already agree with). There is massive energy from the left and from the under 40 crew. You could parlay this into real power.

Creating new voters, excited voters gives you power. Get more Dems elected, show the data from the districts and states and you get more input.

Most dems/progressives agree with:

Much higher/$15 minimum wage
Equal work for equal pay
Civil rights for all Americans
Medicare for All
Better income measures
Prison reform
Voter inclusion

Very few upstart groups have such a firm and large platform support. Your unwillingness to accept those who agree with you on so much but not everything drives people away.

But time and again you have said you don't want to hear this or act like this. It's sad, because over the next few years many of the Dems you don't like will be retiring. You could put your group in a great position to determine their replacements, but you don't use the power you have.

I am using my power, my vote. The leverage on the Democratic Party to show that I wont vote for just any shitlib they push through the primary.

You just refuse to get it. The timing is great for you to DSA issues taken seriously, but you won't do what would get you power and results. Fighting the Dems and helping Republicans beat them will make your dreams more difficult to realize when some are within reach.

I'm doing exactly what I need to do to get power and results, you see I have a system, and it starts with D - Demonstrating My Value

RJ thinks people can make it on foodstamps and an Ass-load of Hope.

Real people are telling the D party the same thing working class Pubs told them:

“Fuck Off!”

They are tired. Again, the only American politician who decried what happened to Bernie was Trump. Hell, Trump complained more than Bernie did.

Have you not spoken to enraged Burners? They are pissed at Sanders and have piss and vinegar for the D party from Wasserman Schultz to HRC and everybody in between.

Dems can’t keep fucking their constituency and expect them to keep voting them in.

Good for you. Don’t keep listening to that old guard trope about the lesser of 2 evils.

I was a Socialist once.. I can’t stomach my early adulthood anymore - not after getting out into the day to day real world.

But you are right and have every right to pursue your ideas and though we thoroughly disagree I will defend your right to express it with all the energy I have.

Good luck taking on the Democratic machine and may you not be utterly dejected when you find out - contrary to what is over-sold — that the biggest Bully in America is the Democratic Party and its attendant 4th Estate

McCaskill is a republican.

Try a thousand times before giving up because the person is hopeless?
lol, this whole time you've been posting inane shit in an attempt to persuade me? yeesh. I'd say its past time for you and RJ to give up on me. Good lookin' out though.
