cant blame stan in the least. With Wellman as his boss he has to know that any push back/negative press would not be received warmly
 
When Bzzz was talking about off season and next year, Stan's silence was golden.

Bzzz already knows his fate and explains why he seemed so chipper.
 
The show will be pre-taped and then played for your...err, their convenience.
 
The guy has made $1 million per year for the past four years, by all accounts he lives a meager existence of Priuses and cheap ties. I'm sure he's sitting on a mountain of money AND he knows some NBA team will hire him to bury him in a basement film room...His future looks as bright as it can be considering his last 10 years have been a case study in bad coaching.

Why wouldn't he be chipper?

Anyone opposed to me creating a billboard with bzzz quote from last night? We wOuld have to move quick. I have some connections in the media that have already said they are pretty much expecting something from us this week.

Do you really want to go the route of another billboard? The ads in the Greensboro Newspaper were the most effective strategy last year.

First there has to be a vacancy. You are assuming that the same people who were stupid enough to bring Buzz back for a fourth year, have somehow gained a few IQ points over the last 12 months. Sorry but neurons are very slow growing.

Besides, even if he miraculously gets the ax in a few days, I like the idea that there would be a billboard in existence when it happens.

Would to luv to run ads in paper but, A) billboards are already paid for. B) News and Record probably wouldn't touch this. Think they got some flack for our ads last year C) Ads would cost $2500
 
Hate to play devil's advocate and I did not listen but if Woody's point is correct (that he made the "success" comment in the context of the ACCT), [Redacted] is right. We have not had a lot of success in the ACCT with the fading exception of Odom's 95,96 squads. The ACCT has been a disappointment for us. So if Woody's point is correct, [Redacted] is right.

And I think he's already been in talks with an NBA team- maybe Minnesota. He'll be an assistant for the Twolves or some team. He's not worrying. Some NBA team is looking at his record in the pros and thinking he can fit a role. Not that anyone here really gives a shit- just pack up, and get out.
