You guys went from 2 to 0. Gotta have a one in there. As in, today is the last single day.

You know Bz is going to win this game just to ruin this thread.

That's why having 0 on Thursday was a perfect call by 1985 two months ago. Either it's the 1st day after Buzz coaching or the last day of Buzz coaching.

I suck at posting pictures. Someone please insert the J Gray photo, with his arms extended, while wearing the face mask. Total badass. Thank you.

Just like we do with the countdown to football season, who wants to join me in counting down to the end of the nightmare? As painful as it has been, I feel some sense of excitement that we will not have to see it anymore in just 61 days!
I want to thank my brethren who joined me in this time of supplication some 60 days ago. Our recognition of past Deacon greats and the victory that all Wake Forest family will celebrate over the next 24 or so hours have made these days move somewhat quickly. There have been many days during this 1430 day bizarre odyssey where we have all felt forsaken and lost in the wilderness. But so soon, we will know no more suffering and this chapter will soon find its resting place next to names like Staak, Hildebrand and Mills. We will turn from the darkness of Deacon shame and into the bright light of a new dawn. And it will be so.

Given all of the investment of credibility capital in the building of the foundation, I assume that this transition will be cast as a resignation taking the shape of "This is a results based business and the results on the scoreboard are not what anyone expected. Nonetheless, eternal thanks for the yeoman's work in setting the stage for future successes/culture/foundation/buzzwords." Since that is the likely case, what would be the point of delaying this thing past Monday at the latest? I wouldn't expect a resignation during the ACCT since all of the media is gathered in a single spot and would rather gossip/write about a firing than Thursday play-in games.

Anyone think it will happen before Monday?
