The Official 2015 MLB Season Thread - Congrats, Royals

Here we go:

Astros-Yankees
Cubs-Pirates

Astros/Yankees - Royals
Rangers - Blue Jays
Cubs/Pirates - Cardinals
Mets - Dodgers

There are way too many new and cool teams in the playoffs, so it's definitely going to end up being the Cardinals.

Also, JRoll was acting manager for the last game for the Dodgers, so he dressed up as Tommy Lasorda

lol in your FACE san jose, baseball's antitrust exemption lives on

Pretty perfect season for the Phils. Overhaul of senior management and leadership (not just the GM), traded away the veterans and got some prospects with promise in return, the beloved players ended up on teams where we don't have to see them all happy often, the hated player went to a rival where he got to experience a late season melt down and then lost his damn mind, young guys came up and impressed – both the expected (Franco, Nola) and the unexpected (Herrera, Altherr, Eickhoff), got the first overall pick / top draft bonus allocation, Chase Utley smiled once – apart from all the terrible, crummy baseball, the season went as well as could be expected. I'm happy.

Now time to join a bandwagon. I'm thinking the Dodgers (for Utley / Rollins / Kershaw / Puig) and the Royals (for the Fetty Wap). Maybe the Blue Jays too since I work with a lot of Canadians and they deserve some happiness after two decades of no post season and the debacle of the Maple Leafs.

Gross. Hopefully the Phillies remain in the basement for years to come.
