Republicans for POTUS, 2016 Edition

That was an epic choke by Rubio. Was surging and a solid debate might have even won NH. Was way too hyper, spoke too loud and fast, and repeated himself multiple times. Cracks under pressure. Thought the water break during the SOTU was weird, but really odd coincidence that same guy would choke during the two biggest moments of his career.

Trump has to be extremely relieved. Iowa knocked him back and he was mostly subdued. Jeb was the only one who went after him and while he landed some punches, the others hacked off. Water boarding plus would have been a problem most debates, but focus on Rubio negates that. Booing helped Trump among his supporters since the crowd was stacked with insiders.

Trump wins relatively easily on Tuesday. Four way battle for second: Rubio, Cruz, Kasich, and Christie. Kasich/Christie loser drops out. Winner joins Trump, Cruz, Rubio, and Jeb in SC.

Domo arigato, Marco Roboto.

The best part of that is that even after Christie called him out on it he just kept doing it!

That was the Chris Christie so many of us liked all these years. He calmly destroyed Rubio.

I wonder if he is on the radar as a VP candidate for anyone. Certainly not Rubio.

Christie would be an effective vp.

Does Christie support a nationwide ban on pumping your own gas, or is that mainly a New Jersey Democrats thing?

Kasich-Christie wouldn't be a bad ticket, in my opinion. I could easily support a ticket like that.

(Or Christie-Kasich, either, for that matter.)

Bridgegate depresses Christie's numbers and prospects a little bit. As long as it's pending, Christie's in limbo since nobody knows what will come out. Think he'd be an effective governing VP, but too risky as a VP nominee until the Bridgegate smoke clears. Definitely did Kasich, Jeb, Trump, and Cruz favors by bending Rubio over. GOP ticket needs help with women, Latinos, and young people and geographically in the West, Midwest, and Northeast. Better, less risky choices than Christie. May be in the mix for Attorney General.

So much for your Dean-RFK-McGovern days

Hillary ain't in the same party with those three guys. Not really.

If you want my vote, give me Bernie. To paraphrase Howard Dean, Bernie represents the Democratic wing of the Democratic Party. Hillary represents Goldman Sachs......bought and paid for.

Which is why Dean supports Hillary and not Bernie, obviously.
