Get why people hate Cruz, and his scorched earth tactics are far from thinly veiled and seem wildly inconsistent with Christian values. Worked in Iowa and may work in South Carolina, but will eventually catch up to him. His campaign manager, Jeff Roe, was behind a Missouri campaign that resulted in a targeted candidate's suicide. Cruz is a scumbag who will do anything to win.

I despise Ted Cruz. Such a smarmy human being.
 
Trump is wildly erratic. Claims that if he wins SC, he'll run the table. Didn't learn much about the expectations game after Iowa. Despite the bravado, he's also now threatening to sue Cruz over birher eligibility if Cruz doesn't stop running negative ads. Talking about mixed messages.
 
Iowa and South Carolina GOP have significantly higher evangelical populations than the country as a whole. Highly likely that Trump and Cruz will be the top two finishers in both states. Trump is far from a paragon of Christian values, and Cruz's campaign has been dishonest and highly unethical multiple times. May be timing of the primary calendar, but SC rewards and tolerates underhanded tactics far more than one would expect from the Bible Belt.
 
Bush is going to finish 4th with less than 10% of the vote again....this time in a state that has been very favorable to his family over the years.

When will he & his supporters finally get the message?

He is doing a great disservice to everyone who wants a solid alternative to Trump and Cruz. Everyone knows he has no chance but he's making a large enough dent in the vote to hurt Rubio/Kasich.

He's still in this race after the disaster of the week that Rubio had. Kasich is a much bigger long shot.

Rubio, Cruz, Trump, and Bush are the contenders.
