Trump Will Win the Nomination

Not me. I think it's great. Put it on the 6 o'clock news. Another 500,000 votes for Trump.

The Bobs love to feed and support the anti-Mexican Trump voters. It's that white supremacist element of Trump supporters that makes their thighs tingle.

so you're mad at the mexican-americans who are angry at trump? i honestly didn't catch the focal fury point

That might have been a bit harsh so I apologize. Anyway, to me it denotes a lack of integration, even after years in this country, and an unwillingness to see themselves as Americans first and foremost, and a lack of gratitude. Many of them see America as nothing but a paycheck and will romanticize Mexico, the country tens of millions of them leave to take jobs, and advantage of social services, in this country. If I saw Irish immigrants or Chinese immigrants tearing shit up while waving Irish flags, I'd be similarly pissed.

Why are they to blame for a "lack of integration?"

A progressive Bernie Bro, ladies and gentlemen. If I saw Chinese immigrants waving Irish flags I would probably just be confused and seek more information.

Because for many of them they have no interest in integrating, nor appreciation for, all they've gotten from the country they've moved to. They only see the US as an opportunity to take.

And by the way, I was talking to my mechanic the other day, who is from Mexico, and he was saying the same thing- it pisses him off how many immigrants have zero love for this country and only see the US as a paycheck. So to see unappreciative people come here and fuck shit up, while waving the Mexican flag and demanding we continue to allow them and their family members to move here, it pisses me off.

to be fair, many Americans see immigrants as a cheap farm tool

I'm not denying that. And I'm not saying all, or even most, Mexican immigrants are like this. But their presence weakens the bargaining power of native born workers. That cannot be denied and is a big part of why business owners favor increased immigration.

Where is the video of people destroying stuff while waving the Mexican flag? You posted a video of a rally where someone had a flag. Did I miss something?

You haven't got a frickin clue what you are talking about. The ONLY differences between Mexican immigrants and Irish or Italian or Polish immigrants is the color of their skin and their native language. Just like previous immigrants they do take jobs...ones Americans refuse to take. I don't see Americans lining up to pick fruit and vegetables or clean hotel rooms or do lawn work.

Just like the Irish or Italians the first generation Latinos send money home to help their families and try to bring them over legally.

Your ignorance of social services is also evident. You can't get food stamps or any other services without legal status. By the way Mexicans paying rent help pay for our schools. The billions in Social Security that is taken from millions of their paychecks will never paid to them.

You should come to places where Latinos HAVE been here for generations. They ARE integrated in our society.

As to "waving flags" maybe you should to NYC on Columbus Day or St. Patrick's Day. There are tens of thousands of Irish and Italian flag and people pissing on the street and starting fights EVERY year.

For someone who alleges to be so "progressive", your post above is as ignorant, jingoistic, xenophobic and racist as anything Trump or an Aryan nation member would spew. It's disgusting and FOS.

Peggy Noonan nailed it. Ignore what she is saying at your own risk:

http://www.wsj.com/articles/simple-patriotism-trumps-ideology-1461886199

"The wind is at Donald Trump’s back, and it’s the kind that doesn’t lessen but build. Last week he won the New York primary with an astounding 60% of the vote to John Kasich’s 25% and Ted Cruz’s 15%. This week he swept the five-state Northeast regional primaries with numbers that neared or surpassed the New York results—54% in Maryland, 57% in Pennsylvania, 58% in Connecticut, 61% in Delaware and 64% in Rhode Island. He beat Mr. Kasich in Greenwich, Conn., the affluent enclave of the old moderate Republicanism. Amazingly, he carried every county in all five states, and every county in New York except Manhattan. With 10 million votes, Mr. Trump is on track to become the biggest primary vote-getter in GOP history. He did well with varied demographic groups, old and young, college graduates, rich and not.

This is the kind of political momentum that tends to grow. A political saying attributed to Haley Barbour is that in politics this is the dynamic: Good gets better and bad gets worse. Very smart analysts and reporters have been translating all these victories into delegate counts, which of course is the key question. But as I look at where we are I think: Get your mind off 1,237; get your mind on the wind at Donald Trump’s back. After all the missteps and embarrassments of the past few months, his support is building.

In my continuing quest to define aspects of Mr. Trump’s rise, to my own satisfaction, I offer what was said this week in a talk with a small group of political activists, all of whom back him. One was about to begin approaching various powerful and influential Republicans who did not support him, and make the case. I told her I’d been thinking that maybe Mr. Trump’s appeal is simple: What Trump supporters believe, what they perceive as they watch him, is that he is on America’s side.

And that comes as a great relief to them, because they believe that for 16 years Presidents Bush and Obama were largely about ideologies. They seemed not so much on America’s side as on the side of abstract notions about justice and the needs of the world. Mr. Obama’s ideological notions are leftist, and indeed he is a hero of the international left. He is about international climate-change agreements, and leftist views of gender, race and income equality. Mr. Bush’s White House was driven by a different ideology—neoconservatism, democratizing, nation building, defeating evil in the world, privatizing Social Security.

But it was all ideology.

Then Mr. Trump comes and in his statements radiate the idea that he’s not at all interested in ideology, only in making America great again—through border security and tough trade policy, etc. He’s saying he’s on America’s side, period.

And because people are so happy to hear this after 16 years, because it seems right to them, they give him a pass on his lack of experience in elective office and the daily realities of national politics. They accept him even though he is a casino developer and brander who became famous on reality TV.

They forgive it all. Not only because they’re tired of bad policy but because they’re tired of ideology."

I guess St. Patrick's Day must really rile you up because that's exactly what happens.

Listen up you delusional old anti-American fuck- your suggestion that there are jobs Americans won't do and those are the only jobs Mexicans take is both a lie and insulting to native born workers. And one which I've refuted multiple times on this board with facts. As to the rest of your post, I'm not gonna waste my time reading it. Get bent you ignorant asshole.

I've heard estimates of 5000 anarchists in the metro Bay Area (7 Million total). Despite small numbers, they fuck up all kinds of otherwise peaceful protests in the Bay Area by rioting and looting. W came to the Bay Area more than a dozen times to fundraise as POTUS and never made any public appearances because he didn't want any protests.

The Trump appearance was in Costa Mesa (next door to RJ land), which isn't as conservative as it used to be but isn't Oakland or Berkeley either. If people are rioting in coastal Orange County, Trump might want to hold a few rallies in the Bay Area. Would be a mess if a Trump supporter harmed a protestor inside the rally, but out of control anarchists rioting outside helps Trump nationwide.

I don't really have a problem with mexicans waving mexican flags.

It's such a small minority now but in the 19th and early 20th century, the Irish, Germans, Swedes and eastern european blocs of immigrants and decendants lived in enclaves and heartily celebrated (and still do) their heritage.

there are many immigrants that are 'loyal' Americans and there are many that aren't.

mostly hand-wringing going on here.

The ignorant, anti-American, racist fuck is you.

I see and interact with more people of Mexican ancestry and origin in a month than you'll see in your lifetime and you couldn't be more wrong.

As DeacHead corroborated what about all the Irish flags and fights the happen on St. Patrick's or every day at Irish pubs?
