Official 2016 MLB Season Thread (Nats Blow It Again)

I could also use recommendations for US Cellular.

The Rangers have some kind of devil magic going on.

You'd make a killing if you bet Texas every game (for a second straight year)

I remember US Cellulkar as being fairly vanilla but it was during a long road trip. Just it wherever you think is the best value, dunno about bad sight lines in the upper deck or anything

I sat along the 1B line in the OF at the Cell which was alright. They're super crazy anal about people reaching over for foul balls, so behave yourself if you do sit there

Can't believe my Reds had the bases juiced with no outs in the bottom of the 9th and couldn't get a single fricken run in.

Turner's defense is questionable right now... Especially at SS vs 2B. Is still a huge head scratcher though, given service time isn't an issue anymore.

I believe service time is still an issue since he was on the major league roster for 45 days last year. But it seems silly when it looks like he can improve the team now, they are trying to win now, and they've been giving out contracts with so much deferred money. #FreeTrea

I've been to the Cell a couple of times, though it's been 10 years. Didn't seem like there would be a bad seat in the house, but not a particularly special spot to recommend. We sat upper deck slightly to the first base side last time and it was fine, though a chilly late May, if I recall.

Awesome, thanks for the info. Just going to check this one off the list.

Ditto, going to watch them play the Royals in early September. Cubbies are on the road that week, but we're doing a paid tour of Wrigley

We're catching the second game of the Yankees series against the White Sox on July 5th. Then we're going to do the Cubs series ending game vs the Reds and then a rain make up game vs the Braves.

For some reason, I always thought that a city with 2 teams, one would be home and the other would be away...but I guess it isn't like that. I also think this will be my only time catching a Braves game this season unless we make it down there towards the end of the season. Would like to go to the Ted one last time but it doesn't have any appeal besides being the last season.

Think I'm going to go see Moncada and Devers play next week in Winston. Any other big prospects for Salem or Dash?

Trey Ball who was the 7th pick in 2013 draft is on Salem. He's a pitcher tho

Not much to the Cell, but upper deck along the 1st base side and into RF give you a partial view of downtown.

Machado vs. Ventura is like Duke vs. Carolina. No one to pull for.
