Official '16-17 NBA Thread: not with a bang but a whimper

Rumors he is back in Chicago and told the team he is dealing with a "family matter". Sounds like me when a big paper deadline snuck up on me in college.

Zach LaVine and Andrew Wiggins both due for a #tooathletic injury

#tooathletic is also about body shape. Like Wiggins doesn't look out of place. He's athletic as shit, but his body looks like it can handle it. I never watched Wake Basketball at all since Buzz, but I watched like 1-2 duke games in the final four, and Winslow always looked just clumsy and like he'd just tear something at any given time.

the sixers 3 wins include a win vs the worst team in the west, the worst team in the east and the Denver nuggets. Had you gone to Duke you'd have the mental intellect to not make such a flawed logical argument.

i'd switch handles too if i were making an argument like this

in addition to the sixers defensive efficiency going from 25th to 5th over the course of the season with okafor on and off the floor, respectively, their pace goes from 13th to 2nd with no change in efficiency

we'll see if he continues to sit over the next 5 against better opponents if the stats hold up

regardless of the okafor issue, which, let's be serious is fairly well settled and he's not that good, the sixers are no longer a historically bad team. they're just normal bad at this point. and simmons should be back in a few weeks. kinda cool.

But maybe their defensive efficiency goes down because when he's on the floor they have more confidence they're going to win because he's so awesome that his teammates mentally relax.

Embiid talking Philly in the playoffs this year. "Only" 8 games out of the last playoff spot.

derozan went off in the second half last night, scored 31 of his 41

valenciunas had 23 boards too
