As I said, Robert Kelly is the worst. And the reason we questioned their calls is because UNC is known for the largest cheating scandal in the history of college sports. They cheat, it's what they do.

Absolutely. Go Hoos. UVA has a lot to play for as it will be the last team match for the coach that built their program. As always, the doubles point will be big, though UVA lost it today and came back to beat OSU 4-2.

In the semis today the matches were delayed 5 hours again because of rain. They finally moved indoors and #6 for UVA played one point, won it, and clinched the match. So they waited 5 hours for 1 point to be played.

How in the heck does Georgia, who hosts this national championship pretty regularly, only have 4 indoor courts? That seems insane to me for a program of their stature.

It is insane. They had to send one of the women's matches tonight to Atlanta.
 
Post-season questions:

The WF men had no seniors among its top 6. Are all expected back or any of them expected to test the pro circuit?

Does Bresky have any top recruits coming in?

Any concern that Bresky leaves to take the UVA job or otherwise move on?

Saw a tweet that Uspensky was transferring to Pepperdine.
 
College tennis tends to have more fluidity than other college sports, mostly because IIRC you don't have to sit out a year after xfer. I imagine 4-5-6-bench players are always keeping their eyes open.

Dennis got thumped against UNC in about 30 minutes when he is typically a relentless grinder. No clue if the two events were related.

It's correct that you don't have to sit a year if you transfer in college tennis. I would like to see Uspensky stay, as he is solid at the 4-6 slot, but there have been a couple tweets indicating he's transferring.
