I really want to see Newman play a full fourth quarter.
We should just run vanilla stuff with our backups. Still pass the ball and try to get first downs, but nothing crazy.

Yep, basic stuff, don't let BC see too much
I would like to see us run the ball almost exclusively. Win 30 - 0 and throw 5 passes. No injuries.

Strongly disagree. This offense can't even run it up in scrimmages. They need every confidence booster possible. Drop 70 and then back down.
Wofford and crew went "ham" for about 20 mins in a bowl game against Temple and that's far and away the biggest offensive achievement of the Clawson era. Run it up and gain some confidence. Sitting on your hands and winning 27-3 only plays in to the self-fulfilling narrative that this offense is going to be flaccid.
I can only imagine the armchair quarterbacking that would occur if Carney or a QB got hurt with Wake up 56-0 in the 3rd quarter that caused them to miss the BC game.
Brasky, Your faith in our offense is based on 20 minutes in the bowl game? Why didn't we keep it going in the second half of the bowl game? Wasn't the 1-5 finish and the second half versus Temple a return to Clawson's norm of the previous seasons? DC has to "ham" it this year. It's what is expected. We'll find out at 1:10 pm on the 9th on Chestnut Hill, when we play a good defense. BillBrasky, do you have confidence in Ruggerio?
Umm, I'm 180 degrees away from your interpretation (of my possibly vague) post. Wofford and his broken play preying offense is shit, minus the first 20 mins of a D level bowl game. If we depend on that this season we'll win 3 games.
