WTF is all this talk about waiters making 40k? 90th percentile of waiter pay is $18.49 an hour including tips per the BLS, which at 40 hours a week is $38K a year. Median is $20k.
lol @ waiters reporting all their tips to the BLS

All they're doing is agreeing to debate, why does doing that make someone a coward?
They aren't voting to agree to debate. They are voting to avoid the debate. By voting on a MTP they are saying we don't need to have hearings, we don't need to have experts weigh in, we don't need to have the various amendments scored, we don't need to tell the public what we are doing, hell, we don't even need to know what is in this bill that could affects millions of lives, jobs, and 1/6 of the economy before we vote on it... we're good.
Because she allegedly was a hard no on the bill. Why waste time debating something you know will harm your state?
So now people aren't even able to debate a change? This is a pretty terrible take.
Palma, can you write 3 things that this vote changed today and the impact it could have? Just 3 bullet points about what today means.
shame
not an ounce of compassion in the GOP.
they are going to let all of their rubes die poor and sick.
Just fuck the GOP so hard
Buncha damn cowards
"I don't care what's in it. We have to pass something."
well they backed themselves into a corner spending 7 years slamming it for political gain.
Super skinny option coming,,,,

Republicans said they were still trying to work out what would be in a skinny repeal, which could simply eliminate mandates requiring individuals and employers to obtain or provide health insurance, and abolish a tax on medical device manufacturers.
Re: The employer mandate: It only applies to companies of 50 people or larger, so how many companies of that size would revert to no benefits anyways?
very few.
lol are you even trying anymore
