I don't know about this one...I think interest in playing basketball has been declining among white American boys over the last few decades, but I haven't seen any evidence of it beyond who makes it to elite college programs and the NBA. Seems like the best white male athletes are just playing other sports.
Room for one more in 2016 class. Does Danny just hold it for 2017, or look for a grad student who could play starting in 2016 or look for a spring signee HSer to begin his four years in the fall of 2016?
My vote would be a SG/SF shooter grad student for next year and keep recruiting for 2017.
I wish we could get this guy - Melo Eggleston - seems like he could solve our wing issue. I've seen him mentioned with Wake earlier and he shows our logo at 1:40. Anyone have any knowledge of whether or not we're involved.

Richard Washington and Walsingham Academy are now at the playoff stage of their season. This week they won in both the quarter and semi finals (beating the #1 seed in their conference) with Washington dropping 26 and 19 respectively. They play in the finals vs. Norfolk Collegiate tonight. Stories below:

Hearing 6'4 2019 Josh Nickelberry took an unofficial visit to Wake Forest this past weekend.
@nickelberry_9
With early recruiting interest from several power conference schools, including members of the ACC, Nickelberry appears to have a bright future in basketball. A 6-foot-4 freshman guard who turns 15 in March, he is averaging approximately 14 points per game in his second season with Northwood Temple Academy's varsity team.
Nickelberry already has taken unofficial visits to N.C. State, North Carolina, Maryland, Georgetown and VCU. He's considered one of the top Class of 2019 prospects in the state.
"I just try to keep getting better," he said. "The work I put in, when I show it on the court, it makes me feel like it's paying off."
