The question on the ATF form reads as follows:

Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance? Warning: The use or possession of marijuana remains unlawful under Federal law regardless of whether it has been legalized or decriminalized for medicinal or recreational purposes in the state where you reside.

Lying on the form is a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison. For being a user of unlawful drugs in possession of a firearm, the punishment is up to 5 years. Fines are also applicable.

In the 2019 fiscal year, when Hunter Biden purchased his gun, federal prosecutors received 478 referrals for lying on Form 4473 — and filed just 298 cases, according to data extracted from the U.S. attorneys’ case management system. That’s out of approximately 27 million background checks undertaken in a 12-month period.
The numbers were roughly similar for fiscal 2018 (444 referrals and 271 cases) and fiscal 2020 (433 referrals and 243 cases).

 
I believe Reff can take the victory lap now. Hunter Biden now has no chance at winning the 2024 election.

The conviction rate on this is around 90%. The IRS is not to be fucked with.

Yes but the IRS and the DOJ don’t usually spend a million dollars prosecuting someone who has admitted wrongdoing and made arrangements to pay the taxes and fines. Yet alone attemp to jail them at greater expense to taxpayers.

I filled up for $2.95 last week. Some gas stations were under $3 and some were around $3.15. Crazy Joe Brandon couldn’t make up his mind.

The average is a tad misleading because that shell station near the Biltmore house is like 1 dollar more a gallon than anywhere else

Just back over the mountain, we're at $2.89. Ingles in Black Mountain was $3.21.

Currently at a wedding and was in a cab last night with a big group where one lady was complaining about gas prices being high. Conservative media is a powerful drug.
