Totally Unofficial Champions League Thread 2014-2015 (non-dv7 Topic)

And Krasic just pulled his hamstring and is being subbed only 13 minutes into the match. Fenerbahce crowd is just stunned. The silence is deafening.

Ideye just ended Gladbach.

Spartak down to 9 men after an injury. Dikan is having a blinder in the second half to keep Spartak ahead.

Спааааааартак!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a heroic performance the final 15 minutes to close that out - Dikan was a monster in goal, and every field player fought their brains out ... even Makeev coming back on, totally unable to run and barely even walk still marking people on set pieces to get another body.

Dikan long throw to McGeady on the right wing to start the counter = my favorite FIFA move of all time

Lille goes ahead, but a goal from Copenhagen puts them through thanks to the idiotic away goals still count in extra time rule

Barcelona, Manchester City, Juventus and Dortmund would be the greatest group of death in the history of any tournament. I'm kind of cheering for it just for the spectacle.

It looks like Chelsea, United, Arsenal, Bayern and AC Milan are the big winners - they each avoid one grossly underseeded team because of country rules. Madrid, Barcelona and Porto ... pretty much are going to get a brutal draw guaranteed.
