Rubin plays at 1:30 against another Frenchman. If he wins he most likely takes on Tsonga.
Saw that he was the first player ranked 300 or below to beat a top 20 team in a major in 30 years. That's something.
Doesn't mean a ton because there aren't that many players below 300 that even play in majors. Their only way of getting in is through a wild card because 300 is too low to even get into qualifying.
Probably only one or two wild cards per Slam go to players outside the top 300, and then they have to get drawn against a top 20 player, and you get the picture. But great for Noah that he did it. It's the upset so far of a tournament in a tournament with a bunch of upsets
