ACC Tournament-Wake vs Syracuse

Since ACC expansion, we are 4-4 in opening games as a 10+ seed, and 0-5 as a single digit seed in opening games. So we have Syracuse right where we want them.

As much of a home-court advantage you can have on ACC Tournament Tuesday...Syracuse will have it.
 
Let's just say, somehow we beat 'cuse, who is the 6 seed? And if UNC loses what's the impact?
 
I 'think' if UNC loses they are the 6 seed. If they win State is the 6 seed.
 
And the 3 seed is dook, if UNC wins and it's Miami if UNC loses.

So

1st round 'cuse
2nd round UNC (lose to dook) or State
quarters Miami or dook (lose to UNC)

UNC win - 'cuse, state, dook,
UNC lose - 'cuse, UNC, Miami

Already know NYC is Syracuse's home away from home, but I hope not a single Wake Forest fan shows up to send a message.

Very true. Even the Manning supporters in the big donor group have to be weakening after the last two losses--not that we lost, but how we lost. Manning will definitely be here next year, but frankly an uninspired performance Tuesday is probably the best for the future. If we get by Syracuse we will be brutalized by UNC the next day anyway.
