Yeah white suburban Atlanta definitely progressive because its the thing to do while also clearly people that don't actually want super progressive policies. Like Loeffer can run as a gun toting Qanon lady and wont lose a single conservative. Also these runoffs Id put the odds of 2 wins for the Dems super low, more likely this state gives you 1 and 1 just because.

Our entire political process is a shitshow. It'll be Trump loyalists vs Pragmatic Republicans on the R side and the Dem infighting being discussed here.

Holy shit don't they have Tyler Perry and the Marvel Movies shot in Atlanta? These races got a bazillion dollars and these are the commercials?!

The pragmatic Republicans are Trump loyalists? Why? Because it was the pragmatic thing to do.

And guess what? The left could pull the Dems left and get pragmatic Democrats to fall in line. Push the issues and get a popular likable figure to lead the charge.
 
Another big slug of votes now counted in PA. 30K. Biden closed down another 11,806 (took 69.64% of this group of votes). It came from a Republican leaning county (Cumberland, per CNN). He has taken 68.58% of the votes I've tracked today. By my rough estimate I think he wins the state by 30-40K votes when all out votes are counted (assumes what the SOS has said about remaining votes to count is accurate).
 
Bernie was the most popular politician in America, wasn’t he?

Never question the willingness of the electorate to assure gridlock in DC. For instance if the GOP controls the senate there are no changes to taxes. Stuff like that will be noted.

Agree with that. I think it’ll be a long bridge - lots of “if you give Dems the senate - taxes up / socialism / court packing / abortion / guns...” fear mongering. I think the only positive for Dems is how historically shitty people both of the Pubs are.

and this is why a lot of people riot because when the rubber meets the road the suburban voters won't support the things that hurt their wallets to improve the lives of the most vulnerable

(1) DOJ investigations into massive voter fraud
(2) Russians HAVE compromised the voting system and we must discount all votes
(3) Aliens do exist
(4) Trump is Q

Fox may need to pivot to something because its about to be all oan all the time in trumpworld. They'll need new viewers somewhere.
 
It will be interesting for Loeffler because she tried to run as far to the right as possible to even make it to the runoff. Her biggest challenger, Collins, is probably to the right of her ideologically, so she was constantly trying to prove how conservative she was. Now, she gets to do a 180 and pretend like she's willing to be bipartisan. Unfortunately for her, it's not like her push to be a conservative superstar was last election. Instead, it will literally be a night and day switch within a week.

Will voters care? Probably not.
