It is the Republican Party. While there are some Republicans who disagree with them, they obviously have no power or influence and have let the lunatics take over completely.

What changed from the summer of 2020 when cops were lying, racist, fascist pieces of shit that should be defunded?

And so is supporting "Blue Lives Matter" and claiming you're the law and order party and then turning on cops on a dime when they say things you don't agree with, and falsely claiming that an anti-government insurrection and attacks on Capitol cops wasn't an historic violation of law and order, but just a patriotic gathering that got a little out of control.
 
It’s not hypocrisy because “blue lives matter” isn’t actually about supporting police. It’s simply a way to express disdain for Black Lives Matter. It’s completely in line with conservative politics to call a Black cop a n——- and call a white cop a f——- for opposing the conservative anti-democratic agenda.

How many Republican politicians have come out in support of Black cops who endured racial slurs from Trump supporters? How many have condemned the voicemail a Trumper left for Fanone? Hell, how many conservative posters here have done that?

These cops were not killing black people for selling loose cigs on the street corner.

But a similar question to you, these cops testified that people carrying blue lives matter flags were in the crowds that near killed them and beat and injured dozens of others; What's changed from "back the blue" in the summer of 2020 to beating a cop to death with a fire extinguisher in January of 2021?
 
Of course they likely just voted against the legislative spending bill because the Democrats were for it, but it's still amusing to see this:
