I never understand this. What does this game (or for football, the Vandy game) tell people that they didn't know before? Nothing new happened. Same crap we've seen before. Bz doesn't have enough positive moments to outweigh all the negatives. Not sure how this could change the mind of anybody who tolerated everything that came before.
This isn't even our first massive blowout of the season.
But it was the first one on TV during a nationally promoted event.
There are people that are still BzIn?
You'd be surprised. There's always a moment when the lightbulb finally clicks for the fringe lunatics.
Examples:
1. When a Clemson football coach loses to us during a poor season.
2. When someone in the SEC gets dominated by Vanderbilt.
Can't think of any basketball ones right now, but there are specific losses that just end all hope.
My pops said he was in front of a guy at the W&M game who was steadfastly arguing Bz's case. He said the guy's response to everyone around him was "X's and O's".
He called me during the 4-minute timeout in the 1st half on his drive home... Surprised he stayed around to listen to that nonsense for that long.
Oh yeah. I get that. What I don't get it why it takes some people multiple lightbulb click events to get it. The [Redacted] career is full of them.
My only guess is because those old WakeThi Forest fans are used to disappointment and losing.
This would not have lasted this long at a school with a championship pedigree. The fanbase, across the board, needs to change their attitude and raise their standards.
This is where I hope you are wrong. I've lived those years and I saw the writing on the wall with the Bzz hiring and how it was handled. And I want him gone yesterday. And I'm willing to bet there are many of us who feel the same way.

Our boosters eat whatever BS Wellman gives them.
Wellman needs to be sent packing.
This might be the worst time in the history of NCAA sports to have your major programs in the toilet.
I have to admit that I'm morbidly curious to see what excuse they'll come up with next. I was done after the Stetson game. It's been frustrating but interesting to watch the 81Deacs and Jaybones rationalize this. Surely they have some good ones coming up.
