I am as sunshine as they get. I was a long hold out for Buz but I hate the man at this point...I mean true personal hate. Is there anyone left that is not BuzzOut?

The only ones who count.

Ron Wellman and Jeff [Redacted] are not buzzout They are, however, fellow rump rangers.

I believe it's become comical at this point. Vast majority of alums and fans are just apathetic, seldom watch and have completely tuned out from the program. Meanwhile, you have a handful of the "inner circle" who
protect and shield Wellman and this clown. Must be some very rich folks who can protect this "kingdom".

I'm as optimistic as possible but I've easily reached the point where the sooner he's let go, the better I'll feel about the future of the program.

Don't get the personal hate though. Just don't think he's right for the job.

I think wellman has seen the writing on the wall at this point. His only debate is to fire now or at the end of the year, as well as to find a replacement AD and to figure out what kind of pressure to apply to grobe. He may be dumb for the buzz hire, but he isn't an outright tard

Wellman is the king of the castle. The serfs don't count for much. Right now 10 wins would be a reach, so Duke Wellman's hand may be forced.

Buzz, in an odd way might be the most unifying force in the history of Wake Forest Sports. There are dozens of intense personal rivalrys on this board on a vast number of subjects but the one thing we all agree about is that this guys is terrible and needs to go.

I agree - can't imagine anyone is still in this loser's corner except Wellman. Two years is two years too long...

What's amazing to me is people can talk thread after thread, post after post, day after day on here about how much they hate Bzzz. People's hate for the man never seems to get old.

That Braces chick over on DS is still in his corner, right?

But why should the wealthiest boosters be supportive of Buzz when the rest of the fanbase sees what a dumpster fire he's turned our program into? What would make them draw a different conclusion than the rest of us? It just doesn't make sense, it's so blatantly obvious that he's the wrong choice.

My stance as well...

Nobody has ever really been buzzin. Lots of people started out willing to give him sometime and then some were willing to wait even longer due to the implosion of the team. Few, if any, ever believed buzz was the right man to turn it around, but many were willing to give him the opportunity to prove himself.

I have been buzz out from early in year one, but I don't hate the man. He did the same thing any of us would - he chased his dream job and got it. The problem is he advanced one level above his capabilities. If anything I feel sorry for the man. The angry and utter embarrassment I feel is directed at Wellman and the way he flips the bird to the fan base every time he praises buzz. Just freaking say - our goal is to win the right way and while buzz has made improvements off the court, none of us are satisfied with the product on the court and Jeff knows that must improve immediately.

Probably because they're the ones forking over the cash to fix the mistakes.

I love the city of New Orleans. If some one set fire to the place an burned it to the ground I would hate them.
