that was the extent of the comparison - just their work rate in midfield when it comes to defensive work. offensively they're night and day different
 
Scholes has nowhere near the motor Ji Sung has on defense. Still not sure what you are getting at. Completely different players in every facet of the game, IMO.
 
I dunno.... in his younger days he (Scholes) always seemed to be in the middle of everything in midfield from a defensive standpoint. I guess they just go about it with different methods (Park = pace, Scholes = reducer tackles).

Got the chelski tickets off a guy on craigslist in Manchester for 125 a pop.

Bought the Everton tickets at the ticket office since they still had a few seats available for 42 pound each.
 
That's awesome. I was just curious on tickets to big matches like that. My 40.00 that I drop on USMNT tickets is not a good sample of futbol ticket prices. Lol

He clearly said "mono, mono" and he clearly tried to hide that by covering up his mouth. Way to hold firm to your principles, UEFA. Good job.

He said that he said mucho morro which means a lot of nerve (think I got that right, going from memory). It's pretty much impossible to tell if that's what he said or not, the two are too close to lip read with half his mouth covered. Not much UEFA could do. Add in that guys close to the play like Sergio Ramos said they didn't hear it, that Madrid said they only turned us in because we charged Mourinho, etc. and there just wasn't much to convict him with. Which is unfortunate if he actually said it.

its pretty dang hard to prove that someone did or didn't say something.

Why would Biscuit have covered his mouth to say, "a lot of nerve"? Doesn't add up. Common sense tells us that he called Marcelo a monkey.
 
You're right, you never cup your mouth when saying something to someone in a loud enclosed space so that they can hear you.

Look I'm not saying he did or didn't, I'm just presenting the evidence. Which is zero, which again, is unfortunate if he did actually say it. Everything he did can be explained or is impossible to objectively tell. And by that I mean if you already think he said mono mono, that's what you're going to see in the video. If you already think it's mucho morro that's what you're going to see him say in the video. Lip reading is already an inexact science for professionals (look at the hundreds of different insults they came up with Materazzi saying to Zidane), telling between mucho morro and mono mono is virtually impossible.

And Dani Alves, Keita, Eto'o (especially him, he wouldn't keep it in), Abidal, etc. never having any problems whatsoever with Busi is what makes me totally unsure of what he did. There's your answer to that question dv
