I had the pleasure of sitting behind a guy at the game who was friends with Skip.

I wish I had an answer for any of the questions he was asking me about what the F has happened in Winston.

To be fair you can find a lot of posts in the last 3 days that said the kids would not be able to handle the success of the State game.

I'm sure all the coaches tried to tell them that GT was going to come after them and they needed to be ready.

Tie that in with the 'bad' practices and I think you get the point.

I think it's pretty clear that we don't truly have a floor leader.
 
I think the guy who scored 18 points with a scratched cornea might disagree that we have no floor leader.
 
CJ, with a scratched cornea, scores 18 and we still lose by 20. God, we are gonna be so bad next year without him.

I don't disagree that a letdown was imminent or that the coaches shouldn't have warned the team against one. I made the comment because it's yet another dickish press conference quote designed to absolve himself of blame.
 
I haven't seen the game, as I went to Boone today and saw Davidson beat the snot out of ASU. I'm really looking forward to firing up the DVR to get some classic unwiped ass basketball...
 
If you have two bad practices after a big win I put it on the staff. Period.

There is a huge difference between a leader on the floor and a player that can score.

I just don't think it's in either CJ or Travis' personality to take control of the team. If I'm a senior on this team and we pull this crap today, I'd be in guys faces right from the start. And if practice was going badly I'd be in their faces there as well.

Don't confuse scoring with leadership. CJ can always get his, getting the others to get theirs is where the leadership comes in.

CJ has won 3 ACC road games out of 36. One of those was the Ish Smith NBA audition in Chapel Hill.
