What's the worst movie you saw in the theater?

Eye of the Beholder was the worst that I can remember seeing in the theater. I think I tagged along with Say Hey to that one because he was reviewing it for the OG&B.

The most recent worst movie experience I can remember was also with Say Hey and seeing the Savages. I was in the middle of a deep dark depression -- like deep and dark, not a fun place -- and had been sold a bill of goods about this movie being funny because I think the previews made it look that way. We roll in and it's this deep depressing movie about family and death and Alzheimers and unfulfilled potential and relationships. I would have walked out, but my car was at the Say Heys' place. I still almost walked out.

The Village but probably bc it was built up to be something it wasn't. The ex gf and I left after 20 min.

The Juror with Alec Baldwin and Demi Moore on a date. We fooled around for a bit in the theater then walked out. I had to google the name of the movie and I could'nt tell you the chicks name if my life depended on it.

I walked out of Payback with Mel Gibson. I don't even know if it's horrible but I wasn't in the mood for it that day.

High School High or the Constant Gardener. Both were shitty in their own way. Tough call.

WAT i loved constant gardener. well as much as you can love a depressing, cloying movie like that.

i like too many of these movies being posted. I must just have abysmal taste.

I liked The Constant Gardner and What Dreams May Come too.

Showgirls was so bad that now they say it was satire and they didn't tell the star.

Movies on this thread that I really like: Sliding Doors, Constant Gardner, What Dreams May Come, Artificial Intelligence, Vanilla Sky

Worst movies I've seen in a theater:

Little Fockers, Dream House, The Happening

Then you did not see "The Man Who Wasn't There", 1983, with Steve Guttenberg. Only movie I've ever walked out on. Unless leaving a porno drive-in in the middle of the movie counts. Note, if I had seen "The Hangover" in the theater, I would have run out. I know that won't be popular here....

Do they still have porno drive-ins anywhere?

Haha I have a great memory of seeing this movie, but it was because the movie was so bad. A friend of mine at Wake was really psyched to see this movie, and we were stopped at his parents place on the way back from spring break. So we go see this movie opening night and the place is packed. We just laughed throughout this whole movie at how terrible it was (except the dude who actually wanted to see it). The best scene was what happened to Tim Robbins. We called exactly what was going to happen, and when it did, we might as well have been rolling on the ground. We were kinda drunk I think. Surprised no one complained to get us kicked out.

The one where David Spade kidnaps the hot girl's dog and offers to help find it for a date. It's so bad, I forgot the name.

I've become much more selective when choosing which movies to see at the theater, it's been a while, but the last movie I walked out of was...

You have to believe in a world where Sophie Marceau would have sex with David Spade.

The Mexican. Just straight turrible.

Godzilla 2000

I know this is just me, but I never understood the walking out of a movie... I paid the money to see it and by God even if it's crappy I'll force myself to watch it just to get my money's worth.
