Here we go (BUZZ's RETURN CONFIRMED BY AD)...

Wellman looks atrocious in the Kenny Beck interview.

Bzdelick has done everything we have asked?

Who is "we" and why did they ask him to murder our program.

How is giving out 7 scholarships in one class not at the expense of the long term benefit of the programs future?

Thank you Mr. Wellman for making me embarrassed to tell people here in Ohio that my favorite team is Wake Forest. They laugh in my face. I have no respect for you.
Was traveling out of town this past weekend and attempted to bring up our dilemma more than once in the airport. We aren't on anybody'd radar. They nod their heads in agreement with you but it is obvious we are so totally irrelevant they don't have the slightest clue about our situation.

Wellman has sidestepped so many questions today that he's about start a new dance craze.

This is the reality. Other schools' fans just don't care, because, frankly, we weren't making a whole lot of noise even when we were good. Now that we suck, we're completely, completely irrelevant.

Is the Kenny Beck interview just those 2 2 minute clips?

Though expected, this is like Cleveland State, WV and the nut punch rolled into one. Those were one day events. This nightmare will go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on... fuck it.

Maybe I'm just reading into this because I'm pissed off about the entire situation, but: by Ron Wellman continuing to tell the media that "Wake fans will be back when we start winning", doesn't that seem pretty disingenuous to a fan base that is proud and passionate about winning on and off the field?

Trying to paint the fans as lunatics that only care about winning while Good Guy Wellman actually wants us to be successful on and off the court.

Just now seeing Wellman for the cunt that he is or something? This has been evident since the end of year 1, if not before that when he was doing those God awful post game interviews with Stan and Dinger.

You're just getting this now? This has been the story the whole time. Why do you think every argument based on winning has been refuted with culture and rebuilding?

I pray to a loving and merciful God that this isn't true. If it is, can we fire the imbecile who forgot to ask him to win ACC basketball games?

Google "historical competitive" and it's generally used to talk about global economies. It doesn't seem like a common term, though.

"If you look through the history of Wake Forest basketball, you will see that we have been competitive and...advanced to postseason play...whether that be the NIT or...NCAA...and that [notably generic]....is our goal for next year."

I refuse to believe he's not just trolling Wake fans now. Thanks to this stroke of genius, you HAVE to look to history to see the last time we've been competitive and advanced to postseason play. Florida Gulf Coast wasn't eligible to be the NCAA when Bz was hired, and they've built a sweet 16 program from scratch since this era of fail began. Wake Forest? We're still in full expectations suppression mode for the fourth season of this disaster.

You just can't a) tear down something that you refuse to substantiate needed destruction, b) ask longtime supporters to endure a painful and long rebuilding process c) directed by a guy with absolutely no credibility or experience in that task. I don't see how this ends, well or otherwise. I honestly can't see the end game. Anyone?

So wait, "historically competitive" was legitimately a planned comment? That's really what he means to say about our future? I thought it was a one-off, but it appears in all his interviews?
