No problem at all, please use that lineup. I'll make changes later on if the lineup crashes and burns in the first few games.

Got a question for you dudes - I am going out of town for two weeks and will be completely without a computer for next week - is there anyway I can go ahead an put my recruiting points on for next week?

Best bet is probably trust someone on here with your password and ask them to put them in for you.

Frankfort off to a 7-1 start - it's only loss a one pointer to Boca - and a 11 PR. After struggling to find a lineup in the pre-season, coach awaken appears to have figured it out just in time. But only Carbondale and Waterloo (tonight) are offering competition in C18. Looking forward to the reveal tonight. Next week looks pretty manageable (PR's 227, 133, 187).

Pretty fantastic sim for Evansville tonight. Absolutely dominated a C13 bottom dweller, and came out pretty great in the reveal.

Here's how recruiting looks at this point:

1.) Justin McClain, 6'11":
McClain has been the #1 recruited player since the soft reveal two weeks ago, and it's not hard to see why. He's a guaranteed +7 big man who has dominated both scrimmages and high school competition. Still, I was shocked to see that he ended up being a 17/17 tie, easily the biggest that I've ever seen (previous record for me was the 12/12 John Goins lotto). Even if a few teams drop off of McClain (and they will), the odds of him coming to Evansville are miniscule. But, hey, the odds of Goins going to Pittsburgh were miniscule, too. I can dream.
Estimated Ratings: GEGGGG

2.) Jess McCrory, 6'11":
Landing both McClain and McCrory would be pretty cool, and it'd open up some fun Mc-related puns. It's also probably definitely absolutely not going to happen. McCrory is a big who is playing high school PG, which I hoped would help him slip under the radar. It did not. He has great handles, and as an all-around big man, it'd be hard to do better than him. He's the sort of big that could thrive at SF, but I'm positive most teams recruiting him are doing so with a center in mind.

3.) Devon Landry, 6'7":
I was late to the party on Landry; he was one of my ballsy soft maxes after the soft reveal, and I ended up getting 36 points on him. I targeted him because of his underwhelming statline, which clashed beautifully with his guaranteed ratings. He's guaranteed GxGxGG, which is great, but his shooting has sucked, while his defense and hands have been fantastic. So his ratings screamed helium to me, and I snatched him up. He'll be a max from here on out, though I wish I had more scrimmage data on him.

4.) Demond Case, 6'7":
Case was a max for me, and I was trying to go relatively safe with him (in that he's a guaranteed GExxGx), though I'm surprised nobody else jumped on him. He's been sort of underwhelming, and I'm not sure where he'll fit in practice. He can score and defend, but I'm unconvinced that his hands will bump from F to G (which would make me hesitate to put him at SF), and his rebounding might not play well at PF. I was really excited about him heading into the season, but he might be heading for a bench role early in his college career.

5.) Manuel Ramirez, 6'11":
I knew heading into this season that I absolutely needed to win a big, and I knew that McClain and McCrory would probably be max ties. So, Ramirez became my safety max, and to my surprise, he came in completely clear. He's by no means a star, but he's solidly competent, and I would definitely feel comfortable with him in meaningful minutes. Ramirez seems to outperform his defensive ratings, and I could see a few categories bumping. Again, as a third recruit (which he'll be here), I could do a lot worse.

6.) Neil Gross, 6'7":
Gross is the equivalent of a draft and follow for me this year. I was late on him, and probably should have focused on him over Jeremiah Dillingham. I trail Frankfort by 5 points for Gross, but I'll likely be putting 17/week on him for the remainder of the season, mainly because part of me thinks that a class of three +5 6'7" wings would easily compensate for not having a traditional big. (Call me [Redacted], I guess?) When we get to crunch time later this season, I'll be spending a lot of time debating Ramirez vs Gross.

1 net-lead and a couple other ties. I'm optimistic about getting at least 2 CL's out of the bunch.

Good get on Landry. I was hoping to get a CL on him with around 25 RPE, but when swoop drafted him in your tournament, I knew there was no secret to keep. Congrats on the ballsy move to put 36 RP's on him. You could have been single maxed. Here are some Landry stats at PG, where he performed quite well.

Don't feel bad about Gross - he was my 325th ranked player after game 5 and is now #38. He's shot up like a rocket. No secret that I'll be maxing him from here on as well.

Roy Rawlinson (19) 2/2 Grand Rapids, Louisville. He must be in a lot of nets to get ranked this high on a 2/2.
Ronald Scroggins (63) 2/2 Sarasota, Fort Wayne. He's a known quantity as good scouted EGFGfG

Neil Gross CL. Late bloomer that is now attracting attention. He very similar to, perhaps an upgrade to, Gilbert Fuller.

Round Robin Phase MVP: SF Justin McClain, Dearborn
As expected, McClain was far and away the best player in the round robin phase, and he absolutely lived up to being the #1 pick in the draft. Not only did he lead the phase in scoring (18.1 PPG), but he was also one of the best defensive players in the tournament, finishing third in BLK+STL (3.3, behind Walker Ayala and Jess McCrory). Lastly, he was remarkably efficient, with a shooting slash line of .559/.471/.795 and a solid AST/TO ratio of 2.3/1.9. McClain's efficiency went beyond shooting and ball-handling, though. Perhaps the most mind-blowing of his numbers is his PF/G mark of 1.6, second lowest among starters in the tournament. If he can do this many things well without getting into foul trouble against all-star recruits, just imagine what he'll be able to do against some of L7's lower tier teams.

Round Robin Phase MVP Runner-Up: PF Maurice Bucci, Philadelphia
If you want to know how Philadelphia made it through the round robin phase with a record of 11-1, look no further than Bucci. He's not the defender that McClain is, nor is he as good a rebounder as many other bigs in the class. He is, however, the tournament's best pure shooter, with slash marks of .547/.560/.813. This is the rare big man that is an absolute sniper, and he led the tournament in 3P%. He could stand to be a little more assertive with the ball, but once he decides to shoot, Bucci usually converts.
Stat Line: 17.9 PPG, 5.8 RPG, 1.0 APG, 1.0 SPG, 1.0 BPG, 1.6 TO/G

The McCrory tie is kind of weird. He's R4, and P- local pref'd, with E+ win pref. There are human coaches on him from R4 and R5, and a computer coach that is 3-6 on the season (avg PR around 150).

It looks like that 5/5 tie might actually be closer to a 3-way tie between myself, Boca Raton, and Odessa.
 
As I mentioned earlier the computer coaches recruiting is just crazy. I have a 2/2 tie on a Exc local recruit and the 2 ties are computer coaches that maxed him are both from schools that are more than 5 regions away. I mean WTF guys?
