If you think about it, Josh Howard sounds like the type of guy we would not recruit now. Yet, his story remains one of the best in our program's history because of Skip's influence on him. He essentially says Skip taught him to mature and become a man.

Today, we focus instead on avoiding players who do not need maturing during their time here. Now, we blame less mature players for their mistakes and have little to no success helping them mature.

Shameful. And if the AD disputes that is our position, then it needs to figure out a better way to present things.
