Fourth of July plans

ehh... the lady had a bachelorette party in nc i was so mad about, but since she changed jobs she cant take off friday making it not worth it. why the fuck would you plan an event for 4th of july weekend? it ruins everyone's long weekend.

it makes it easier for a destination party (which this one is... i'm driving instead of flying, but 70% of attendees are flying. long weekend makes it more worth their time)

I thought the bachelorette party was going to be in the Nashville suburbs in some chick's living room.

yes, but it also makes flying more expensive and ruins a great chance to take a long vacation.

but none of us have to use a vacation day which makes it awesome (vacay days are worth more to me than money most of the time). none of us have complained about it :noidea:, we all thought it was a wise choice as far ask i've heard. i'm not taking a real vacation until later in the summer anyway.

Bikini, pool, some guy.

well, it's supposed to be hang out at pool with smuggled alcohol in water bottle, then participate in neighborhood parade, then sit around drinking and eating burgers in the park. Unfortunately it looks like rain city tomorrow so I'll probably be stuck inside with my kids driving me crazy and keeping me from enjoying my day off.

Anywhere from 18-36 holes of golf, interspersed with the consumption of anywhere from 6-24 beers.

Driving 7 hours to Linville Ridge so I can stare longingly at the golf course for three days of non-stop thunderstorms.
