It's good to be "Johnny Football"

Watching the highlights from his game yesterday and he really comes off as a huge douche which wasn't the case last year... Crazy how popularity can bring the worst out of people

I think he comes off as a spoiled brat, but I could see where people would read some grand statement against the NCAA into it. Good for him having fun with his heel turn. These situations can turn real sad, real quick if/when fortune stops shining.

Or when Alabma decides to pitch inside to him.

Pretty much my thoughts exactly. No room for his antics, especially at the college level.

all hail the new king troll

MANZIEL-MONEY.gif

The NCAA should take a look at that and say Manziel just testified about the money. We believe him and the guy who said he paid him $7500. He no longer has an NCAA eligibility.

Lots of people are sitting in jail with less evidence.

Not really. He doesn't have to play the class game and act like he needs college football more than it needs him. He's throwing the hypocrisy of the NCAA in their faces.

This. I am loving this.

well, we have no idea what was said on the field that prompted him to do that.

besides, we need him to stay eligible through september 15th, unless you're a tide fan :)

His act is kind of tired to me. He better enjoy the spotlight now before he gets pummeled in the NFL.

I think he's a douche and the way he acted yesterday was unintentionally awesome. I don't think he's is thinking that he is going to be a rolling commentary on the hypocrisy of the ncaa, but that's the result of him being a dbag.

I think he and too many people think the NCAA has to have enough proof to win in a criminal court. That's false. They set their own rules.

They even said the Manziel wasn't closed. They can do whatever they want.

He seems a lot like Ryan Leaf to me.

Sad that some think his behavior was awesome. Heisman winner who openly disrespects his coach and his opponents. Stop with the antics and enjoy the next three years before failing to succeed in the NFL. Wonder how much his autograph will be worth then?

These types of feelings posted on these boards always make me laugh considering our two most beloved major sport athletes are Randolph Childress and Alphonso Smith.

I don't recall Smith or Chill showing such lack of respect to their coaches. And I could be wrong but don't remember either getting penalized for taunting behavior. Comparing the Heisman winner and his behavior during his first action following his chat with NCAA to those two seems a little apples to oranges but I get your point about Chill. But glad I could provide a laugh.

What's the dividing line on liking/disliking Manziel? I'm going with 30. Most college kids seem to love him.
