That's why I prefer to be "Gen Y" and not a Millennial.

In my opinion, millennials don't really start till 86-87-88ish.

I think Gen Y should be 80-86.
 
Lets start millenials w/ the 90's, IMO.

I dunno, there's a big difference to me in the people who graduated HS in 00 and people who graduated in 05.

But obviously there are folks that are outliers in both.

That's fine, I was proposing an 80's split and a 90's split. Gen Y for 80's, Millenials for 90's up.

what's the difference? besides that theyre 5 years younger, and you likely don't have many friends in that age group.
