I have had a couple of very distant relatives die when gathering for another very distant relatives birthday over in the middle east as collateral during a drone strike. I would like RJ to apologize for his constant endorsement of drone strikes and the killing of my innocent distant relatives.
 
RJ, how was it that you ended up at Wake? I can think of two Jewish guys I knew at wake and this was long after official ties had been cut with the baptist convention. If I recall correctly you're not from the area. What made you choose MSD?

I've of course seen all the dwarf jokes on this board, but I somehow missed the thread or whatever where they originated. I've never gotten it.
 
First of all, it never occurred to me that there wouldn't be a reasonable number of Jews at Wake (which there weren't). Duke had Jews. UVA had Jews. Bill&Mary had Jews.

Next I thought about doing the five year law program they had then.

It was also about 90% that one of my best friends was going to come to Wake to play basketball. Everyone in the country thought it was a done deal. His dad had been an assistant at Penn under Jack McCloskey. Everyone thought it was 90% Wake and 10% Princeton(back then they were great and had been to a Final Four recently). His going to Kentucky shocked the entire recruiting world.

Finally, I visited in November. It was very warm. People were in shorts and barefoot. I liked that.

I have always been "wacky congenial RJ" to all who treat me that way. That's the way it will always be.

Those who act like dicks to me get treated like dicks.

It's always been simple and direct. I treat people the way the treat me.

I'd much rather have peace and fun, but there's a group of people here who have no such interest.
