I think it's hilarious that several of us went right to the Stanford coaching staff page at the same time. It would be awesome to have a bro that graduated from FSU the year after I graduated from Wake.
 
As much as I love the idea of P-Mont, I would go after a guy with a strong defensive background. It seems like year in and year out the ACC lacks that tough hard noised defensive squad (i guess you could say VT but ehhh). Would be nice to bring that here with KJ coming back a solid group of young LBs and Cameron Glenn coming in http://rivals.yahoo.com/wakeforest/football/recruiting/player-Cameron-Glenn-147622

Art Briles coaching tree members are having a lot of success, so this might not be a bad route. Plus our games would be infinitely more entertaining, which might be reason enough to make the move
 
We could find the perfect candidate and with Deacon luck, we would win the last two games and end up in Detroit.

Our next head coach is obvious. High caliber offenses are all the rage, so we'll go in the opposite direction and shop for a DC. That DC is going to have to come from a tough academic school with a good #culture. Bonus points if the dude is from the midwest/rust belt. Extra bonus points if the dude is from Notre Dame to satisfy Natty Hatch. Extra-extra bonus points if the dude's last name is a shortened version of "Deacon" in some language.

Yep, your next head coach here is Bob Diaco.
 
That's probably a good call.

By the way, Montgomery's offense is averaging over 3 times as many points as Lobo's offense.
 
I like Vermont's angle on this. He's probably right on the money.

Oh no. Did you not hear the announcers say that he is the best coaching fit for Wake Forest? I'm so tired of this LOWF crap.
 
He'll need 3 straight wins to avoid being the only coach with 5 straight losing seasons at the same school.
 
Apparently old Nathan stuck his foot in the mouth for the second time at a major athletic event. First the ribbon cutting for the Tower and then 5 years later unveiling the Palmer statue. After 8 years you would think he would realize that he is the president of Wake, and not Notre Dame. He needs to be retired if it happens again. He has a real bad case of ND-envy.
