I actually think Lane Kiffin as Alabama OC might kind of work.

Lane Kiffn is that kid who wrote a really good paper in high school and tried to use it in all his college classes.
 
The decision to hire him makes no sense. He is poison. TopHat, they've said since his first stint at USC that he is the guy who was born on third and thinks he hit a triple.
 
Pretty clear Saban wanted his OC out. Who would bring in a consultant at OC if things were going so well? Nussmeier won a NC and was a kick 6 away from playing for another. Wow. He and saban must have butted heads or something. Although Reports are Saban wants to go up tempo/spread etc. I kinda dig the fact Bama was maintaining the 3 yards and a cloud of dust offense and was kicking people's ass with it.

Will need extra security on game day. Or maybe Kiffin will need to wear a helmet to protect himself

They won't want him coming back to Knoxville when he is stealing their recruits. Kiffin is a bum and an ass but the guy can recruit with the best of them. I would bet order of business is to go after some of those kids in UTKs class.
 
Butch seems to be recruiting well at UT so far. I imagine if Lane stole some of those recruits the yahoos around Knoxville might drive to Tuscaloosa and burn his house down. I'm only half kidding.
 
When is the last time Alabama didn't have a top 5 recruiting class? It isn't like their recruiting was suffering, although Lane is a very good talent evaluator.
 
Remember that their top QB recruit for '15 is from SoCal. Maybe that had something to do with it. The Nicktator will find out what a weasel he just hired.

Lol no kidding, right? Maybe Saban will get a life and take idk 2-3 days off without football...

Probably a lot to ask of him though.

Nuss got paid a LOT of money to be the Michigan OC. Like, top 5 Coordinator $. Plus, it's Michigan. It's not doing as well as bama right now, but it's not like that school is lacking in tradition...
