Based upon early returns, this appears to be the case.

Our recruiting improved a ton under Grobe and we were still usually near the bottom (with Duke) in the ACC. BC was down there too. Syracuse would've been had they been in the league. I don't see that changing unless we hire freaking Steve Spurrier or somebody.

wasn't our recruiting (at least ranking wise) pretty good under caldwell?
 
The real question is when do the recruiting services downgrade Uter to a 3* because of his Wake commitment? Or at least the ones that have him as a 4* now?

Good example, Leak was just a three star recruit and it literally shocked us to death that we landed him. Leak did have a nice offer list with offers from Notre Dame, Clemson, etc...

He also helped land Jason Anderson (best receiver we had after Desmond Clark left) and Fred Staton (a bust).
 
Leak was basically Sousa with a stud little brother.

I've posted on this board less than once a day the last month and only 6 or 7 of them have anything to do about NCSU. Yet you seem to find everyone of them and comment on it. And I have a problem?
