I hope Dan continues these little digs. A Buzz meltdown is really the only reason to continue following the team this year. A "fuck you, buddy" to Dan would be the ultimate.
 
I do think it must be said that if Bz really has pneumonia and he has not missed a practice, that is admirable dedication...or a suicide wish.

You obviously don't know him very well then. Have a conversation with him and you will understand everyone's viewpoint regarding his odd behavior. Have dealings with him and you will take back your statement. He is a ginormous prick!
 
If he had any self respect and respect for Wake Forest basketball he would resign immediately or whenever Ron wants it effective.
 
Maybe I read it wrong but I don't see how that article could be read to say Dan likes [Redacted]. I don't see it at all. Can anyone explain that point of view a little more?

I think you dwarves are reading too much into the final paragraph.

I don't think it's as harsh as you think it is.

I'd be focusing on 94's donut buddy's comment about the cupboard being bare in the next to last paragraph

I kept waiting for Dan to say "Bzz has been vilified by fans but...." But he never contrasted the fans vilifying him with another [Redacted] that we've never seen. Instead dan just says that he's never met another person like [Redacted] and doubts he will. At the best it indicates that Dan thinks he's a weird weird dude.

In my interactions with him he has seemed like a pretty normal guy. Loves music, loves sports, loves chicken.
 
Are we still rolling the quad the day he is fired? I can't remember who thought of the idea, but kudos.
 
This is so Wellman's fault. I am ambivalent about Bzz. I want Wellman out yesterday, he did this to Wake.

Agreed. I mean he spends half of it lamenting how he didn't do what would've been a kiss-ass profile of Bz for chrissakes.

Also, the exchange between Bz and DC doesn't seem that bad, either. Collins only made a big deal out of it because he's a hippie pushover. I'd imagine exchanges like that are common for most coaches-reporters
