Our Next BB Coach or #MannUp + other coach talk

It's going to be so disappointing if UT gets Shaka Smart or Gregg Marshall.

Especially if it is for like $2-2.5mil.

Well neither will go for that dollar amount at least.

Shaka currently in contract renegotiation talks for 10mil a year, a castle, one of those hoverboards from Back to the Future, and Maya to be named President of VCU.

Seriously though I did hear that Shaka was 3rd on Kentucky's list last season, behind Brad Stevens and Sean Miller.

Calipari is losing a 2nd Asst. Rod Strickland is following Orlando Antigua to USF.

A source told @CBSSports that talks between Tennessee and Michael White have cooled. He’s likely to stay at Louisiana Tech. Story coming …

If Mike "Never been to The Dance" White would be a "home run hire", then Danny Manning (who has been to The Dance and won their conference tourney) must be a grand slam hire.

Pretty much utter nonsense.

It's rather foolish to take too much stock in one game. Michael White has a more impressive record as a head coach, Danny Manning has a more impressive record as an assistant.

@GoodmanESPN: New Tulsa coach Frank Haith has hired Tom Abatemarco on his staff, source told ESPN.

The sleazy guy Ron wouldn't let Bz bring to Wake.

I just don't fully understand the irrational love by a lot of people on this board for Michael White.

I think it's quite rational to think that the better track record is the one with more wins at a worse program. Seems pretty straight forward to me.
